Saw this in another context, and wondered if it applied even a little on the dark trail. By now I've already decided it doesn't; first, because I'm not actually anonymous here; second, I'm probably not actually a normal person.

Even if you were anonymous, it wouldn't apply here. The Dark Trail has a theme which, despite its name, is rather light and airy.
(In our house, it is considered ok to mess with the printed version of Mark Trail by making marginal comments.)
